Summer Discovery and SIG staff members change the world – one student at a time. Our summer staff members work with young learners in middle and high school, playing a pivotal role in shaping their futures. As part of our summer team, you’ll learn from experienced educational leaders while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for youth from around the globe.

Through our four to ten-week summer programs, you’ll be able to build your professional skillset and gain new insights that may shape your future career plans. As a Summer Discovery or SIG employee, you’ll:
- Form amazing bonds with talented coworkers from all over the country
- Receive round-trip transportation to and from your program, a meal plan, and on-campus accommodations as well as a bi-weekly stipend
- Participate in fun-filled trips and outings
- Explore and tour new cities at exciting locations
- Become a mentor and guide young students on their academic path, teaching independence and good decision-making skills

Job Requirements and Responsibilities
As part of our team, you’ll be tasked to provide resident support, organize group events and student activities, oversee student safety, and implement and enforce policies and procedures. In addition to being responsible, caring, and energetic, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 20 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the US
- Be a college graduate or be a pursuing a 4-year college or university degree
- Be willing to work odd hours and shifts in a residential, university setting
- Be able to pass a background check, a physical, and provide proof of Covid vaccination and booster
- Be a responsible and caring team player
